Q: Why is the site launched as a beta version?

A: The website has gone live as beta.ceh.ac.uk alongside the current website. We envisage doing this for a period of 4 weeks. It gives us all an opportunity to test the site in a live environment so if any unexpected issues arise we can deal with them while the current site is operational. Secondly, we can use the beta period to gather and act on feedback from staff and external stakeholders prior to going live.

Q: How do I log in?

A: You will be emailed your username and password by cehwebsupport@ceh.ac.uk. You will then be able to active your profile by going to auth-ceh.axis12.com. Subsequently you can use those login details to login either by going to 'Login' link in the footer of auth-ceh.axis12.com, or by adding '/user' to auth-ceh.axis12.com.

This allows the comms team to check the new content for look and feel, ensure that all the links work, etc. Once it has been approved by the comms communications team the new content will go live.
