This note is to let you know that we are planning to upgrade the CEH installation of JIRA (Issue management software) CEH Wiki to the latest version (3.4.23) on TuesdayWednesday, 30th November 15th December 2010. This update has to be done to keep our installation current, allowing us to continue to receive vendor support and ensure all necessary security patches are applied.
Although this isn't a major upgrade, it will include some feature improvements. The overall layout and operation procedures of the wiki will remain to function in the same way.
Some of the new features includes are:
- New Keyboard Shortcuts/Dialog
- User Macros in the Macro Browser
- Autocomplete for macros
The This will be a significant upgrade that includes several major changes to the way Jira both looks and works. We are currently running v3.15 of Jira, meaning the new version will include features and fixes offered by all interim versions (4.0 & 4.1)between our installed vesion 3.2.1 and 3.4.3.
