Radiological Protection of the Environment Training Courses 

The overall objectives of each course are to ensure participants:

(info) are conversant with assessment objectives;
(info) have a basic understanding of radionuclide transfer, dosimetry and radiation effects;
(info) know how to use available tools;
(info) can interpret the results;
(info) understand the implications of how the tools are used.

This five day course was attended by ~40 representatives from organisations such as national regulators, the uranium mining industry and consultants. The course was an adaptation of those we have run in the UK with the practical exercises especially being focused to more local interests.
