Course objectives

If you wish to register you interest  for the next training course (dates to be decided) please contact Cath Barnett

The overall objectives of each course are to ensure participants:

(info) are conversant with assessment objectives;
(info) have a basic understanding of radionuclide transfer, dosimetry and radiation effects;
(info) know how to use available tools;
(info) can interpret the results;
(info) understand the implications of how the tools are used.

Radiological Protection of the Environment: refresher course on ERICA Tool updates

The short refresher session that was to be Spring 2014 had to be postponed. If the course above runs, we are considering adding this session to the final day. This session will be focused on therecent updates to the ERICA Tool.

These two, 2.5 day courses were attended by 17/18 representatives from organisations such as national and state regulators, the uranium mining industry and consultants. The course were an adaptation of those we have run in the UK, with especially the practical exercises, being focused to more local interests
